Welcome to The Wrath of Con!  My name is Arlette, and I am a cosplayer/costumer with nearly 20 years of experience.  I have made over 160 costumes, and attended over 70 conventions encompassing everything from sci-fi and videogames, to comics and anime.  I thought it was time for me to start recording my experiences and reviewing the conventions I attend so that I can improve as a journalist, and perhaps the conventions can improve their programming and any issues that may arise.

 

I am also recently traversing conventions as a semi-disabled person, and I want to note if the experience is much different, or harder, than it was before I got sick.

 

I'm sure we all know that there is no such thing as a perfect convention, but with my work I am hoping to get them as close as possible!  A good convention means happy attendees, and happy attendees are happy nerds!  And don't we all just want to be happy nerds?
